Benchmarking and performance monitoring

Students will be monitored, especially those in first and second year, for their academic performance and ability to cope with the programme.

Chemical Sciences Programme

The following criteria should be fulfilled by candidates wishing to remain on the Chemical Sciences Programme.

Minimum CAP acceptable: CAP 4.0

Students falling below the minimum CAP score of 4.0 for 2 consecutive semesters will  be advised to opt out of this programme.

Pre-Graduate Award

The following criteria should be fulfilled by candidates wishing to receive the A*STAR Pre-Graduate Award.

Year of Study	Minimum CAP acceptable
Year 1	CAP 4.25
Year 2	CAP 4.25
Year 3	CAP 4.25
Year 4	CAP 4.25

Students falling below the minimum CAP scores will be advised to repay the necessary refund as dictated under the terms and conditions of the A*STAR Pre-Graduate Award.
